Contributors must be 18 years or older prior to submitting their application.
Contributors are required to have (or make) a Discord account.
All zine communications between mods & accepted contributors will take place on Discord to facilitate organization.
We are happy to answer any questions if you have not used Discord before!
Contributors must create a new piece with original composition specifically for this zine—studies, recreations, or previously created pieces cannot be submitted to the zine for publishing. AI generated pieces are not permitted.
Contributors may not share their piece outside of the Discord server until the mods permit it.
Mods will announce when previews can be posted (during pre-order sales) and when full pieces can be shared (during leftover sales).
While contributors retain the right to their creative works, the project retains exclusivity to the piece until the project concludes or until the contributor drops from the project.
Contributors are expected to communicate regularly with the mods.
This includes submitting check-ins on time, completing tasks as requested in announcements, and communicating if the need for an extension arises.
Participants that miss two (2) check-ins without active communication will be removed from the project.
Contributors may be removed from the project at any time for breaking the guidelines outlined above or for engaging in harmful behavior.
This includes but is not limited to: plagiarism, harassment, racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, name-calling, slurs, or using other hateful rhetoric.
Contributors engaging in harmful behavior as described above outside of the project server will also be removed.
Contributors found to be using blockchain or AI technology in their pieces or application will also be removed.

What is a zine?
A zine is defined as an anthology of creative content, collected in a single book and centered around a given theme. This zine welcomes page artists, writers, merch artists, spot artists, and other creatives to celebrate Glinda and Elphaba’s relationship in all forms.
Who can contribute?
Anyone 18 years or older at the time of applications is welcome to apply!
How many contributors will be accepted?
While final numbers may vary based on the interest check and applications, we aim to accept 15-25 page artists, up to 4 writers, 2-4 spot artists, and 3-5 merch artists. These numbers may include guests.
Will this zine be physical or digital?
This zine will be physical, pending the results of the Interest Check!
Will this zine be for-profit or for-charity?
This zine is a for-charity project—our project will first use any profits to cover up to a free full bundle for each contributor; any profits remaining after that will be donated to Palestine Children’s Relief Fund, a charity dedicated towards providing medical care towards injured and ill Palestinian children! 🍉
How will contributors be compensated?
All contributors will be guaranteed a full digital bundle and the ability to purchase any physical items at production cost.
Pending adequate sales during pre-orders, we hope to compensate for shipping or the cost of items entirely—we aim to cover a full bundle for each contributor.
Profits not spent on item compensation will be donated to a charity of our contributors’ choice, as noted above. A full breakdown of compensation tiers will be available upon acceptance to the project.
What is this zine’s rating?
This zine is rated T by AO3 guidelines. This includes canon-typical levels of violence, non-graphic descriptions of injuries, romantic descriptions without explicit sexual interaction, up to and including light kissing and displays of platonic affection.
Will other ships be allowed?
The main focus of any piece should be on Glinda and Elphaba, but other ships can be referenced or included in the background.
Can zine pieces focus on book canon as well as movie/musical canon?
Yes, we welcome content from all of Wicked’s mediums, whether book, movie, or musical!

Elphaba haunts me like she haunts the narrative.
If only because dust is what we come to—nothing matters but knowing nothing matters

merch hoarder and plush aficionado. if a musical sells a book, i will be buying it—which is why i lugged the grimmerie around times square. always asking the cast random questions at stage door.
One question haunts and hurts too much, too much to mention
Was I really seeking good or just seeking attention?

Hey, I'm El and I've always had a soft spot for misunderstood/villainous characters and tragic stories. I also adore retellings in a different style—Wicked was always going to be something I loved!
Because I knew you,
I have been changed for good
